Come and join me at bip-Art Printmaking studio, where I make all my work. We have a wonderful 1844 Colombian Press, which is a joy to use.
A fun and immediate way to produce beautiful prints. Learn how to create colourful works and print them on the traditional, hand pulled Colombian & Albion presses. Cut your image into Soft Wood, Lino, or Vinyl blocks and incorporate colour using Chine Colle and blends of ink.
Progress on to reduction and multiple blocks.
It is possible to take more than one course, one after another and continue on to develop more advanced printing methods.
Materials – inks, cleaning materials, chine colle paper, glue & two small starter blocks are all included in the course fee.
Extra blocks and paper are not included, these can be purchased from the studio.
Small class – maximum of 6 students.
